So lovely to meet you

Serving clients globally

A note from our founder

my name is colleen but my friends call me callie

My life mission is to “make things beautiful and make beautiful things”. That mission is lived out daily working with our clients, creating in my home studio, and in my expansive gardens.

I’ve dreamt of being an entrepreneur since age 4 and started my first venture, Callie’s Cakes, at 16. Always thinking my life would end up as a chef or working in boutique hotels, I was surprised when I found a passion for marketing and working directly with small businesses.

As we mature and Honeycomb nears its 10-year anniversary I find my dedication to our clients deepening and a welcomed shift in the way we work.

We’ve dedicated 2025 to just 14 clients ensuring we provide the very best to each client and aligning with our “anti-burnout” commitment.

We’re also welcoming more sustainably-minded businesses and mission-driven organizations who align with our passions and values. This work has already proved to be incredibly fulfilling and we look forward to more aligned projects in the coming years.

We're Not

We're brand builders architects developers visionaries

Design – it’s only a fraction of what we do here. There are multitudes of talented designers, and the number grows each year, but to simplify us to designers misses why our clients come back to us time and time again.

We’re brand builders. We believe some of the most valuable work you can do on your business isn’t seen, but rather researched and reflected on. That’s why our process doesn’t start with visuals, but rather questions.

Our process - refined over the past 8 years - is designed to unlock the true vision for your brand and set the tone for our work together.

It’s what we’re known for and if you ask our clients, their favorite part of our work together.

That means by the time we sit down to create the visuals for your brand, everything we create is rooted in a strategic, thoughtful direction we both agree on creating less back and forth and more momentum for our work together.

Just Designers

I’ve always done things a bit differently, and that’s no different with Honeycomb.

Since I could walk, I’ve marched to the beat of my own drum. So it’s no surprise that as the idea for Honeycomb came to mind, it was born out of a desire to do things differently.

Only this time it wasn’t for the sake of being different, it was out of a real need I saw when working for small businesses.

Throughout my college days in small town Abilene, Texas and the early days of my career in Austin, Texas, I noticed that small businesses shared a common struggle:

capacity and time to brand and market their business

They needed a partner, not an agency. They needed personalized solutions, not templated roadmaps. They needed someone who cared as much about their business as they did.

That’s why I started Honeycomb – to partner with small businesses and breathe new life into their brand.

Eight years later, we’ve expanded our capabilities, worked with clients worldwide, and even won some awards. But the greatest testament to our work is our continued relationships with our clients and the impact they are making on the world through their businesses.

Our team is small which means you get to work one-on-one with us in a way that’s usually reserved for high-level consulting.

No running your ideas through the grapevine only to have them misconstrued or worse – fall through the cracks. No worrying if your vision will come through – we’re a curious bunch who likes to listen, and even if you don’t have all the words, we have the right questions.

If you’re looking for a team that’ll be as passionate about your business ideas as you are and bring them to life in ways better than you imagined — you’ve come to the right place.

On Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond business.

Chris and I are not just business partners, we’re also life partners. Together we share a passion for sustainability, locally sourced food and community building. In 2022, we took on our most ambitious project yet – transforming my fifth-generation family farm in southern Tennessee.

Naturally, one of our first decisions was the name — Mable and Jack Farmstead named for the mare and mule that helped my grandparents farm enough food to get through The Great Depression.

On the farm, we are committed to regenerative practices which include many conservation practices and we have a bold vision for the farm. As entrepreneurs and hobby farmers, we aspire to build a place that serves as a community hub. At the same time, we want to use our branding expertise to help elevate the local producers in our area, casting a much-needed spotlight on the amazing work happening in our community.

Our vision is bold and expansive. In the same way, our work here at Honeycomb creates ripple effects as our clients impact the world, our goal is mirrored for the farm. We hope the sustainable practices we are adopting create a sanctuary for our entire community to enjoy for generations to come.

Let’s make beautiful things together!
